founder, Craig Kaplan, has spent over 15 years developing information
technology, including four years with IBM as a human factors scientist
and Performance Improvement consultant.Dr. Kaplan earned his M.S. and
Ph.D. degrees from Carnegie Mellon University, where he co-authored papers
with Nobel Laureate in Economics, Herbert A Simon. In his
book, Secrets of Software Quality: 40 Innovations from IBM, Dr. Kaplan
describes the measurement system, deployment plan, technology systems,
and best practices used by IBM to reach its performance improvement goals.
Dr. Kaplan is a member of ASQ,
ACM, APA, IEEE, and the Scientific Research Society, Sigma Xi. In
addition to authoring papers and patents, Dr. Kaplan speaks internationally
on the topics of team-based assessment and performance improvement.
Dr. Kaplan has provided technology and consulting to the US Air Force,
the US Coast Guard, and the US Department of Energy in support of their
performance improvement efforts. His company's software has also
been used successfully by IBM, AT&T, Raychem, and many other industry,
government, and non-profit organizations.
