ISO 9000 ISO 9000 criteria is a series of internationally-recognized standards and guidelines that define an effective quality system. An organization demonstrates compliance with either of the major ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 9002) and achieves certification by successfully completing a third-party audit of their system. ISO-certified organizations enjoy a competitive advantage over the noncertified in the lucrative European markets. ISO 9001 is the most comprehensive of the three ISO standards. It examines process conformance from development, production, and testing of a product to the product's eventual installation and servicing. ISO 9002 is less broad, encompassing only the procurement, production, installation, and servicing areas of an organization. ISO
9001 is primarily meant for organizations with the capability to design
while ISO 9002 is for those who provide goods and services that they do
not design themselves. iQ Company currently stocks assessment
modules for both ISO standards. Test Drive iQ Company's GroupKnowledge with the ISO 9001 or ISO 9002 Assessment Modules. Learn more about ISO by reading iQ Company's ISO 9000 Overview.
