Dr. Rex Green
Rex S. Green is the developer of the Baldrige
Self-Help Review, a checklist approach to assessing Baldrige-level quality.
Dr. Green has a Ph.D. in quantitative psychology from the University of
Southern California and a B.S. in Business from Indiana University. He
has spent 18 years designing and conducting mental health services research
studies and providing multivariate statistical consulting services to
research colleagues. He has published about 40 articles addressing statistical,
measurement, and research design topics, along with articles covering
database development and emerging health problems. He also has served
as the Director of a state Center for Health Statistics. While serving
in that capacity, he established their policy research unit and initiated
a health statistics newsletter to support key policy statements of the
State Health Officer. He took the opportunity as Director to apply several
quality improvement techniques to better address performance problems
and raise the quality of the Department's services.
